Ubuntu App Symbol

I know that I have posted a topic like this before, but it still has never been answered. I want to change the little ubuntu symbol in the top left next to Applications. I know that the logos I can choose are in /usr/share/pixmaps, but I dont know where to go to link one of the logos . Before, some guy directed me to this thread:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=534881

But it doesnt help at all. can someone please help me with this?
