Ubuntu 19.10 - Switching a non-administrative to the classic interface

This is probably a super-simple problem.

When I login as admin, I have the capability to install a classic interface (using sudo apt install gnome-session-flashback). I log back in, click on the gearwheel, choose flashback and it works fine. Thereafter I have the classic user appearance.

But how do I change a non-administrative user's display to classic (because I don't want to give them sudo privileges. (I tried su -, but that didn't work.)

never mind. It was (ultra) simple. Just add the non-administrative user to the 'sudo' group, login as that user, run the desired sudo command (like: sudo apt install gnome-session-flashback), and relogin as that user, choosing the right display option. Then login as admin and remove the user from the sudo group (sudo gpasswd - non-admin-user sudo). Done.
