It will run chromium from the terminal ok!

I have a similar error on Ubuntu 20.04 when refreshing or installing snaps like chromium, signal-desktop, etc.

Code:
:~/Downloads$ snap refresh chromium
Fehler: cannot perform the following tasks:
- Den Konfigurationshook von Snap "chromium" ausführen, falls vorhanden (run hook "configure": /snap/chromium/1479/snap/command-chain/hooks-configure-desktop: line 43: /snap/chromium/1479/gnome-platform/usr/bin/fc-cache: No such file or directory)
Any ideas? I tried all the answers i found like removing all font cache files and running
Code:
fc-cache -f -v
but without any success. Need help

Well, an obvious remedy would be
Code:
snap remove --purge chromium
apt install chromium-browser

BTW, running fc-cache -f -v won't affect the snap. This is how it should be run
Code:
sudo snap run --shell chromium -c 'FONTCONFIG_FILE="${SNAP_COMMON}/fontconfig/fonts.conf" "${SNAP_DESKTOP_RUNTIME}/usr/bin/fc-cache" -fsv'

Sure i know i can install with apt but i want snap to work. Its not just chromium but for most snaps i get this error.

Code:
sudo snap run --shell chromium -c 'FONTCONFIG_FILE="${SNAP_COMMON}/fontconfig/fonts.conf" "${SNAP_DESKTOP_RUNTIME}/usr/bin/fc-cache" -fsv'
gives me the following error:

Code:
/bin/bash: /usr/bin/fc-cache: No such file or directory
When installing/refreshing snaps with this error the folder is immediately removed so i cant run any commands on it.
