Hello,

I am looking to install on my desktop a pentesting Distro like BackBox or Kali Linux, but my problem is if as a desktop this distros are recommended, also, is it possible to install all this tools that come with this distros on Debian Wheezy since they both are based on Debian/Ubuntu?

Kali Linux is nothing more than Debian with a modified kernel (more WLAN drivers, IIRC) and a set of pentesting/forensic tools installed. Other than that it behaves like a normal Debian and can be used as "normal" desktop.

Thanks for the reply, ok that is good to know, but also, I would like to know if I install debian is there a way to install same pentest tools that come on Kali? Because I love its stability, or if I install Kali as a desktop Can I install same software as Debian or even from Debian or that will damage it?

I am not sure, but I guess that Kali has the same software in its repositories as Debian. According to the documentation adding other repositories than the Kali repositories may break your system, this may also be true for Debian's repositories: http://docs.kali.org/general-use/kal...t-repositories
It is possible to install pentesting/forensic tools in Debian, but Kali is the better way if you want to do pentesting, since you will want to run on the Kali kernel in that case.
I recommend to read the Kali documentation before you decide which way to go, especially the chapters "Should I use Kali Linux?" and "What is Kali Linux?": http://docs.kali.org/category/introduction

I been looking a bit about it in Google and it seems to be possible to add Kali Tools to Debian or Linux Mint Debian Version or even Ubuntu at least for all Linux that come from Debian from what I been reading,

So, right now I am struggling of what to install either Debian Wheezy or Linux Mint Debian version since I will installed on a laptop mostly use for work, develop, desktop usage, internet usage, and virtual machines to learn more, so I really want something simple that works I really don't want to be bother with OS, I can use that on other laptop or virtual machine.

What you recommend??

I personally love Debian and its stability and how simple everything works but, I been looking on Linux Mint and they release the Debian version so, its the same but it seems to be more oriented for desktops and make users that want Linux with desktops their life easier.

I would really love your opinion or anyone's to help me decide it worries me that Bumblebee is not for Linux Mint and it is for Debian using back-ports but, correct me if I am wrong you could use same one on Linux Mint right?? Also Debian to install it uses Back-ports would that screw my dependencies? or something? Just want to make sure since I have that issue before with Debian and I am force to use Bumblebee since I have my laptop doomed with Nvidia Optimus and I want to install Debian Wheezy Stable version not testing or unstable.

If you can run VMs then why not run the pen-testing distro as a VM?
Pen-testing VMs tend to be set up to run only as root and do things like put adaptors in promiscuous mode -- hardly things you want on a desktop PC. They run as live CD/DVDs for this reason -- they're vulnerable themselves and created for only one purpose.
