Ms fonts, GNOME


Hi folks, Im actually using opensolaris on my laptop, an I'm wondering if somebody can point me to a package containing Ms fonts, to make the fonts sharper on GNOME.

Some are packaged; if you have a Windows licence and media you can just copy them.

Edit:

That was a bit terse; I was short of time. Here's a bit more

Copy C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\*.ttf and *.TTF to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/Microsoft and set perms to root/root 644.

cd /usr/share/fonts/truetype/Microsoft
mkfontscale
mkfontdir

You might need to do a bit more than that but the above should give some useful words to netsearch for. If you find out more please update this thread.
