monodevelop

Hi guys, i have just installed monodevelop on SLED 10, installed via yast, monodevelop runs ok but when i try to start a new solution/project and select C# template the program crashes and closes down after a while. i get the following response from gnome terminal when executing it:

Quote:
(MonoDevelop:7292): GnomeCanvas-CRITICAL **: gnome_canvas_request_redraw: assertion `GNOME_IS_CANVAS (canvas)' failed
MonoDevelop: Fatal IO error 12 (Cannot allocate memory) on X server :0.0.

GLib-ERROR **: gmem.c:158: failed to allocate 416 bytes
aborting...
Segmentation fault!
Cannot display crash dialogue
i tried creating a new user account as well as running it from root and it works fine in both, it's just when running it within this particular user account that i get the above message.

anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

much appreciated.
