Mandriva 2008 ELO touchscreen Driver was installed successfully, but after a few touchs Linux hangs up. Why it's happend ? what can a problem be in ?
Thank's for replays.
Sorry for my bad Endlish.
I do not have your hardware, until you get a better reply, can you do a search in
/var/log/dmesg
/var/log/messages and see what your hardware is called.
post the few lines of the log to show us please.
2) when it fails....is there any message in the logs on this?
3) just before it fails, what changed..what were you doing different, for example had you just plugged in a new usb device ?

hi, would you please email me the touchscreen driver for mandriva 2008.
I also would like to try as i also need to make a touchscreen for mandriva 2008. If any observation, would let you know. Thank you.
ok if it is the driver, maybe you post the download link which would help everyone who needs the driver and gives us a chance to look at the documents?
2) my kernel already has a kernel module
what happens when you do this pls?
Code:
su
modprobe elo
assuming it loads you can see it is loaded with next command...but I do not have one
lsmod | grep elo
elo 3362 0
