Making an Epson work on FC5

Just installed FC5 (upgrade from FC4). Downloaded and installed latest gutenprint.

I cannot get the system to print to the Epson CX5800F. Using CUPS. Using USB to the printer.

Worked o.k. under FC4.

Have looked in the system messages and see indication that the printer is recognized when it is turned on:

----------------------------------

Sep 16 08:51:42 alpha gconfd (bill-2813): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults" to a read-only configuration source at position 2
----------------------------------

and lsusb shows:

----------------------------------
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 04b8:0821 Seiko Epson Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
----------------------------------

CUPS sees the printer, I have configured it there, but any job sent to the printer is immediately aborted. Can't even send a CUPS test page.

Any pointers on where to start looking?

Thanks.

I don't know how to setup a printer on FC - But check every setting on the cups-web-page (localhost:631) or install the same printer again on this page.
