Linux mint 19.1 desktop

I need a program that writes usb sticks for updating the bios in the mother board. As far as I know they aren't bootable I can download from asus/support.com They have ona fat32 stick whick I can do but can't write a non bootable stick. I have three programs but I can't figure to just transfer the download to a usb stick.

Is this just a file copy? If so, just open your file manager and drag/drop the file to where it needs to go.

I had the bios zipped file downloaded.I unzipped it . I formatted the stick to fat 32. I drug it to the usb stick and it showed it was loaded.
The mother board has a program to install the bios. Located in the bios I've done it before.
