KDE 3.5 Desktop Menu Bar

Hi!

I have just a couple of questions about how to customize the desktop menu bar in Trinity, which is KDE 3.5

I would like to know if the depth of the bar itself can be made smaller? For example, in GNOME I have it adjusted to 25 pixels high, but in KDE it seems to be a set size, which is larger than in GNOME.

I was also curious if the menus can be changed or added to? Currently there is File, New, Bookmarks, Desktop, Windows, and Help. I would like to add Applications to it (no icon I mean.. I do have the option to add text next to the icon for the app menu but I dont want the icon) and something like Places so I can access my drives (I dont think Bookmarks would work right?)

Oh, the other thing I liked in GNOME... fast user switcher! Is that something KDE 3 can have? I did see KDE 4 has something like that but obviously wouldnt work in KDE 3.5

Right click on an empty part of the panel (if you don't have an empty part, click on the roll-up arrow at the end of the panel. Click on "configure panel". Under "Arrangement", at the bottom of the dialog sceen, there is a drop-down box labeled "Size". Select the size you want.

I tried what you suggested but thsi panel has not option for configuring. I think its because its not a panel I created, but the one that appears in the settings when you select "Desktop Menu"
