Java 7

According to http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp :
Latest Java installed
Version Java SE 7 Update 25
Operating System: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64
Java Architecture: 64-bit

/usr/java/jre1.7.0_25/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so

However, three different web sites e.g. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?r...01111&loop=yes
do not run it successfully.
I have a Windows box with Java 7 25 which does run that script succesfully.

What is happening?

radar.weather.gov/radar.php
is written in php and uses flash for the animation. I don't see the relation to your java installation. Am I missing something?

Cheers j

No, it was me missing something. I had been told that it was in Java. Problem solved.
Out of curiosity, how did you determine that it was in php & flash?

the url ends in .php?paramstr
So this was very likely to be written in php and I simply had to right-click on the animation to see that it is flash...
cheers, j
