is there yahoo messenger for ubuntu well i use gaim but gain has yahoo but you cant use the mic or the web cam on gaim well so i need yahoo messenger on ubuntu so if there is a way please give me a link to download yahoo messenger to my ubuntu the fastest way thank you
Pidgin (formerly Gaim), the GNOME desktop instant messaging (IM) application and Kopete, the KDE IM application, each can be set up to work with multiple IM sources, including Yahoo Messenger, AOL's AIM, and Windows Instant Messenger, as well as others.
You might try the RedHat 9 version there. You really should stick to the instant messenger that's specifically designed for Gnome though (which is Pidgin). This is probably already installed, just go to Applications > Internet > Internet Messenger
