Integrate KDE's Task Manager with its Quick Launch bar

I have been trying to make KDE 4 look like Windows 7, and have made some pretty close calls. I installed a theme that makes the KPanel have Windows 7-like transparency.

Now, the only thing I want to do is make the KDE Task Manager look like Windows 7's Taskbar - no labels, only icons. How is it done?

Use the Smooth Tasks manager widget and disable the default task manager.

Thank you for this. Smooth Tasks really works.

Although I would love to be able to pin the apps to Smooth Tasks.

You can't pin apps to smooth tasks, but you can pin them to the panel. Just 'Unlock widgets' first. Find the app you want to add to the panel, right click it and select 'Add to panel'.
