Please do not post images when it's only about text.
Paste text.
Make an effort to describe what's happening.

I did not see the images.
The text output I see tells me nothing special, everything appears to be OK.

Please install mpv and use it to start the video & reproduce the problem, with the option
Code:
--log-file=file.txt
Then paste file.txt here.

I need to play the video in Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc. I can't find out why HW acceleration doesn't work. In Google Chrome I have HW accerarization activated.
4K video plays quite well in VLC, KODI, but in web browsers the CPU is almost 100% when playing video.
I also installed mpv, but the video plays choppy.
What specific log should I paste here?
Thank You

Why doesn't HW acceleration work with IGPU?

HW acceleration does not apply in web browsers (Google Chrome 87, Mozilla Firefox 84)
Your messages are conflicting.
So it was all about Chrome, after all, and not about your operating system and media playback in general?
Because I asked about that, specifically, in post #2.

Hi Guys, The Intel G5400 CPU supports hardware acceleration for various tasks such as video decoding and encoding, which can significantly improve performance and reduce CPU usage. If you're experiencing 100% CPU usage when performing such tasks, enabling hardware acceleration in the corresponding software settings could alleviate the issue.

Chrome requires plug in for HW acceleration to work.
Firefox needs few touches in about:config

Result is ~30% CPU in chrome and half ot it in firefox. These are my observations from Slackware, don't know about Ubuntu.

HW acceleration with Intel G5400 (YT CPU 100%)

the Intel G5400 CPU is experiencing high utilization (100%) during hardware acceleration tasks, likely due to its limited processing power. This could result in sluggish performance or system bottlenecks. Consider upgrading to a more powerful CPU for smoother hardware acceleration and overall better performance.

It appears that hardware acceleration with the Intel G5400 processor is fully utilized, as indicated by the CPU running at 100% when executing tasks. This suggests efficient utilization of the processor's capabilities to accelerate processes, likely resulting in smoother performance and faster task execution. However, it's important to monitor temperature and system stability to ensure optimal functioning under heavy loads.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It feels like the Intel G5400 processor is being used smoothly, resulting in smoother speed. Just a reminder to keep an eye on temperature and system stability to ensure optimal performance, especially while under severe load. "Safety first!"GB whatsapp apk
