Smile how to install atlantis and also make the comp recognise my monitor


i use linux mint 9 (isodora)_

as the monitor is not detected i have to every time i start the comp , change the resolution

install theses

sudo apt-get install compiz-fusion-plugins-extra
and
sudo apt-get install compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported

atlantis is part of the none supported plugins compiz-plugins-unsupported

we will try to stay to one subject. what graphics card.

Atlantis ? what ? As in the Atlantis screensaver ? or the compiz/comiz-fusion Atlantis plugin ?

and what dose

have to do with it

what is your monitor?
how is it configured in xorg.conf?
do you have a 3d card ?
if so ATI or nvidia ?
or is it a built in chip?
