gui windows display problem

Am on fedora 31. While working, windows occasionally shrink and display all open windows on screen. Is annoying. How to stop it? If something I do, what am I doing wrong and I will stop! Of course I want a software fix really.

My fedora is right off the shelf with no modifications. I have searched google and fedora extensively but no luck.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to convey. Fedora has the Gnome desktop by default I think - not a Fedora user so can't say for sure. Gnome has a feature where you hit a key or keys all windows are shrunk and displayed so you can see them all in one place and choose one to click on.

This is a feature, not a problem. Perhaps a Gnome or Fedora user will chime in and let you know what this is called or how to invoke it via the keyboard or mouse so you can avoid it in the future.

From your description though, I would say there is nothing wrong with your system.

This may be of help: https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/OS/KeyboardShortcuts
