F-spot, thunderbird and /tmp timeout

running Intrepid on a Toshiba Satellite.
Thunderbird is my email client
When trying to send pictures from F-spot I get the Thunderbird new message with the photos attached. However, apparently the default timeout on the /tmp file used to store the pics until sent only keeps them for 30 seconds and after that I get an error message in Thunderbird that the /tmp directory can't be accessed. The solution that I have found is to change the settings for f-spot/export/email in gconf-editor. Specifically one key called delete_timeout_seconds. However there is no '/apps/f-spot/export/email/delete_timeout_seconds' key present by default. Configuration Editor shows '/apps/f-spot/export/email' contains only the keys 'auto_rotate' and 'size'. So the question is whether or not this is a bug (one has been filed at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ot/+bug/112684) or if there is another way to deal with this?

Thanks

Yeah, looks like it's that bug. If you're missing the key then maybe you're not using the latest version of F-spot? One workaround offered could be to test if an other MUA than Thunderbird works for you.
