Does gnome-flashback session use wayland? Do all gtk3 apps use wayland?

I am new to gnome3.I used gnome2 before. Then,I switched to mate. Now,I came across gnome-flashback and decided to try it.
I am using arch linux 64 bit.
My gnome-Flashback version is 3.24

I know Gnome3.24 runs on wayland as default.I want to know whether gone-flashback runs using wayland or xorg as default?

Also,Do all gtk3 apps run on wayland or xorg?
If not,how to find out?

Any version of gnome can run on wayland or X. It depends on the distro and how they want to do it. All releases of GTK will run in either wayland or X.
