cookies transfer to another computer

I am re-installing OS on my computer. However, i am concerned
about the cookies for the current browser i have, especially
those cookies from bank website. I don't want to re-enter those
security questions again.

From the forum member's experience, will that work if I just copy the cookies to the cookie folder after i install the new OS?

Your bank may use flash cookies instead. You may want to backup the ~/.adobe/ directory as well. If it is just the username, password info you need saving, you could examine them in Firefox and simply copy them down.
