Convertered VMDK Starting 10% of The Time

I created a vdmk image from a system that was having hardware issues using:

Code:
sudo dd if=/dev/sda | VBoxManage convertfromraw stdin MyLinuxImage.vmdk 120034123776 --format VMDK
the next thing I did was install VM Player 6.0.1 build-1379776 on a windows 8 machine. The steps that I used was:

http://(http://smallbusiness.chron.c...le-44318.html)

So finally after all of this is done, VM Player will boot 10% of the time. Usually if I remove all the *.lck file from the virtualmachine directory and the directory where the actual VM resides, it will reboot. I have attached the log files to give you a better understanding on the inconsistency of this important VM.
Attached Files
File Type: log vmware.log (146.5 KB, 19 views)

2014-04-09T22:07:19.665-04:00| vmx| I120: [msg.panic.requestSupport.vmSupport.vmx86]
2014-04-09T22:07:19.665-04:00| vmx| I120+ To collect data to submit to VMware technical support, run "vm-support".
2014-04-09T22:07:19.665-04:00| vmx| I120: [msg.panic.response] We will respond on the basis of your support entitlement.
First of all I don't see what Linux has to do with this because the host OS clearly is not Linux and neither is the virtualization guest. (Not to mention the ISO of uncertain origin you've used as source to install a licensed product.) Secondly VMWare Player is a closed source, proprietary and licensed product made by VMWare so in my humble opinion they should be the first you should contact. (Note VMWare has a pretty good board BTW.)

Many thanks, I knew I would get blasted I actually post this question on several other forums including VMware community forum without a solid anwser so thats what made me throw this question out to my best resource (linuxquestions.com) as a last ditch effort.

Sure, but unjust? You posted in the Linux Desktop forum and mentioned a "MyLinuxImage.vmdk" while there's no Linux involved at all (host: win8, guest: win7). Then there's a disk on scsi0:0: that was created for IDE, you only allow the guest 475MB out of 2000MB host memory and then there's a Win32 exception detected, exceptionCode 0xc0000005 (access violation)...
