I managed to install Debian and get ntop running, I can see it in the process list but I have no clue how to see the data it records. I think im going to have to stick with win2000.

Sorry to hear you are going back to the dark side. Would it help if I told you I got ntop running like this:

ntop -i eth0 -w 18888

And then with my browser, I went to

http://localhost:18888

Yea, that worked. Any idea how to export the logs at midnight everynight and then reset the statistics?
