Awesome WM and Google Chrome

When I upgrade my Slackware installation to the newest or current version, awesome and its dependencies need upgraded as well. Presently I am running Slackware64-current with multilib. My present issue is with google-chrome and being able to freely move the windows around the desktop.

Versions
Code:
$awesome -v
awesome v3.5.6 (For Those About To Rock)
 ⢠Build: Mar 17 2015 17:28:10 for x86_64 by gcc version 4.8.4 (root@noodle)
 ⢠Compiled against Lua 5.1.5 (running with Lua 5.1)
 ⢠D-Bus support: â
Code:
$ google-chrome-stable --version
Google Chrome 41.0.2272.89
Awesome WM dependency reference.

Slackbuilds used.
lua
imlib2
libev
libxdg-basedir

I have checked around the Internet for similar issues, but none that referenced my specific issue.

One additional issue I forgot to mention. When I right click links, I have to do it two or three times before the drop down menu pops up.
