ask help on "string to number", Csh


Since Csh does not support (just found the information), I may need to convert the number with decimal to integer number first, then go on with all the calculation related.

Can you paste what u tried ?

If u want to add up two numbers with decimals u can try the following:

echo 10.0 + 11.0 | bc

This should work with any shell.
