Book availability

Que is checking on it, I'm actually waiting for a delivery to use in classes, so I'm pretty antsy about it too...

I'll post when it's ready, thanks for being patient.

Johnfon,

You can choose exam 101-DPKG or 101-RPM when you take the LPI exam 101 or other exams. I prefer Redhat(RPM) base exams.

For more information you can check my first post.

Hi Ross,

I appeared for the LPI 101 RPM exam. Unfortunately, I couldn’t pass that exam. I searched all the documents and links on the net and what I had found I had posted on my first post. but, still not satisfied with that martial expect one or two. I am re planning to set again for both exams (101,102) and plan to use IBM study tutorials. Does IBM cover every thing? I have seen your books table’s contents on amazon.com. I am thinking to buy this book also. http://www.examcram2.com/title/0789731274#

Here, I am confused about study martial. As I have found some links and documents some cover some of the points (like installation, etc) and some does not cover with full details. And I don't want to take chance again. As I planning to buy your book. Is it available in INDIA? If not then, can I read online? Can download .PDF file and HTML document? Bec’z now I am looking for perfect martial to pass these exams.

Also, can u tell us What’s on the CD-ROM? I have seen there are some Exam Prep Questions at the end of the each chapter. what is that exactly? is it only 1 question with thw multiple answer or it's cover some technical senario?

Please help me to clear all doubts. looking forword to your answer.

hitesh_linux: I purchased the book yesterday, and on the cdrom it comes with a full .PDF version of the book. I'm pretty impressed with the book so far, although I have only read up to midway through the second chapter. So far it is very easy to read if you have a linux background as I do.

Sorry Hitesh. Out of respect for Mr Brunson and his written property I can't send you a copy of the .pdf version.

Mike,

I appreciate your standing firm about international copyright laws.

Hitesh, the book is available in almost every store and website that deals with books, it's even discounted for overseas, why take a chance on being seen as a pirate, just get a copy of it for yourself. Someone else (ziox) also asked for a .pdf of the book, that would be theft, you get the .pdf as a companion to the book, not as a replacement for the book.

The book is available in the entire Que/Pearson distribution channel, including India and Egypt, my publisher tells me. You should have access to it, if not, let me know and we'll see what we can do.
