no problem! yes, I get an IP address from the router. I had tor connected for about 20 minutes now but I still can't surf the net.

it takes a while before pages load, since they need to go true several tor nodes first.
Browsing via tor is slow, and even slower if your normal connection is slow
are you getting error messages?

yes I do get an IP address from the router. I've been connected to tor for about 30 minutes now and nothing. i sitll can't connect.

Tried for 120 seconds to get a connection to {scrubbed}:2869 Giving up (waiting for circuit)
Application request when we're believed to be offline. Optimistically trying directory fetches again.


I also opened port 2869 but nothing.

I'm out of ideas.
Perhaps anonym can figure this out.
I don't know if ISP's can block this.
Isn't there a forum or mailinglist from incognito ?

it could be possible. Im at work right now. tonight when I get home I will try it from home, also I will try with and without a router.

Opening those ports on your router isn't needed.

Does simply restarting Tor fix your problem? I.e.:

sudo /etc/init.d/tor restart
You will have to re-connect TorK to Tor in order to get it monitoring Tor again. Do that through TorK's Tor menu.

Hi,

I restarted tor and reconnected tork to tor however I still can't access the internet.
log message: same as above.
