Wine FileZilla FTP

So I installed the latest Win32 version of FileZilla on a FedoraCore3 machine using WINE. The Wine database saidf FileZilla is fully compatible. It installed without a hitch and the program installed good. I then started the program and entered in the same site info and settings I used on my windows box with FileZilla but when I connect It stops after

Command: LIST
Response: 200 Type set to A
Command: TYPE A
Response: 200 PORT command successful

And doesnt list the directory contents or anything liike that. It says its connected and all but just stops... Any ideas? How to get it working properly to a standard FTP server with normal user accounts? It worked fine on Windows. Im using SELinux and in the firewall settings on install I allowed it to do FTP commands.

why don't u use gftp for example which supports ssh and ftp instead of using the filezilla/wine combo?
