yea, but don't forget, linux and its programs were made by hackers, so maybe they wont make too many bad things for it

but heres my opinion on windows/linux security

windows : prone to countless viruses, DoS slaves, drones, any pretty much any other automated thing there is
linux : is hacked more then any windows computer (actually, this may not be known, as in windows you'll never know, also because in linux the security and setup vary from 1 computer to the next, so automated processes to hack and control linux are hard to impossible to get to work with any good size computer pool)

so point being, if your in windows: be careful of everything as security is week, and only secure in that hacker will probably be less likely to hack into you'r sysem tehmselfs, and use a stupid script

in linux you'll be hacked before getting hit hard by a virus, so having a securest system as possible is a must (as a person trying to get into a linux computer will know he has to do it by hand as the security is both good, and varies making it hard to simply do teh same thing that worked an other machine 2 times in a row, thus it wont be a stupid program trying to get in, but someone that can actually think....

Well, my redhat 9 system got hacked to bits and my mandrake system got hacked and was acting really strange and now I have Slack and I dont feel secure at all. But I feel more secure with Linux than using windows.
