If you parse words it actually is a "Linux Free" BSD kernel, though I agree wholeheartedly he doesn't know frijoles from beans about Linux or BSD and probably never used a "console" as we know them in his life.
A console in the sense of computers is a full-screen Terminal not running X to me.
