Question What's better than Tripod?

Right now I'm using the FREE Tripod service for my personal website. I was wonder if any one could recommend any thing better than Tripod. All I need is FTP access and I'm good to go. I would also like to have as much bandwidth that Tripod has. I tried Geocities but there bandwidth per month sucks.

host it your self via apache, that is if you are running a highspeed connection.

if not try http://mycodedontstink.com

not sure if its free, but the bandwidth is great there and without pop-ups or banners.

Hell, I would if I had broad band. I have dialup. I tried hosting on dialup once with Apache but the speed sucked so I had to go back to Tripod.

ahh, sorry about that link not working. thought for some reason it was a host. you could try contacting your ISP, or just deal with the BS of tripod. at least they are rather stable.
