Using Gedit on windows no spell check languages

I use gedit all the tines on my buntu box and would like to carry on using it on my windows XP box.

gedit for windows installed fine but the languages list is empty...

i belive that gedit uses aspell , i have Aspell-0.50-3 and Aspell-en-0.50-2
installed
as as per this thread
http://osdir.com/ml/gedit-list/2009-12/msg00003.html

i have copied the dll and added C:\Program Files\Aspell\bin to the windows path variable

but still nothing,

anyone here got this to work?
