Three Engineers

There are three engineers in a car: an electrical engineer, a chemical engineer and a Microsoft engineer. Suddenly the car just stops by the side of the road and the three engineers look at each other, wondering what could be wrong.

The electrical engineer suggests stripping down the electronics of the car and trying to see where the fault may have occurred.

The chemical engineer, not knowing much about cars, suggests that the fuel might be becoming emulsified and getting blocked somewhere.

Then, the Microsoft engineer , not knowing much about anything comes up with a suggestion: "Why don't we close all the windows, get out, get back in, open the windows again and maybe it will work!"

The box said "Windows XP or better". So I installed Linux.

How many microsoft engineers does it take to change a lightbulb?

None, Microsoft just re-defined darkness as the new standard.

This may not be exactly a joke but read the meaning of Vista (used on the new Windows iteration):

vista (from: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Vista#English)

1. A distant view or prospect, especially one seen through some opening

Also note that Dell sounds like Dull (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Dull see 2 and 4), by "inheritance" it can be applied to basically all Windows-running PCs.
