The Dark Night and Null Key Encryption
I watched "The Dark Night" the second time tonight. (Batman rules!) Awesome movie, however I noticed that in the scene where Bruce Wayne is showing his sonar-based cell phone device to Fox, he tells Fox that the device is "null key encrypted," and that therefore only Fox can use it.
Last time I checked, "null encryption" meant to use no encryption. But I was curious if maybe it was also techno-slang for one-time pad encryption, or some other use I had not heard of.
