Successful Slackware string:
Code:
Midori/0.3 (X11; Slackware/Linux; U; en-us) WebKit/531.2+
Now back to less important things!

What version of Firefox are you using? You might try using something like this in general.useragent.override:

Code:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Arch Linux x86_64; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0
…replacing Arch Linux x86_64 with Fedora Linux <whatever your CPU arch is>, and changing the FF version to whatever version you're using.

Technically, when FF comes pre-configured to send appropriate OS/distro information in the useragent string(s), it's the package maintainer(s) who ha(s|ve) done the configuring, not FF itself.

Blame whoever maintains the Firefox package(s) for Fedora.
