Hi,

I am trying to create a sms qrcode with qrencode

I am using these qrcode keywords

smsto: and sms: # Click here for website

Here is what I tried thus far.

qrencode -o sms.png < sms

Here are the contents of the sms file

smsto:+12121234567;

test message

After I create the QRcode I scan it with the camera and then I click Send SMS.

The phone number and the test message are both in the recipient box.

The test message is suppose to go to the text box. How can I do this?

I know there are GUI apps and online generators for QRcodes but I am curious on doing it from the command line. I appreciate any feedback.

I figure it out by experimenting.

qrencode -o sms.png "smsto:+12121234567 :text message"

This will put the phone number 12121234567 in the recipient box and the text message in the text box.
