Cool Since it seems cool to do it... I'm leaving too

Call me trendy, whatever.

Just kidding, no but really, I'm going on vacation on wednesday and won't be back for about 10 days. So tell all the n00bs MasterC said "Welcome to LQ" and tell all the ftp questioners to use ProFTPD.

I just thought I'd let you all know since I will be going into DT while I'm gone from lack of posting.

Cool

Well no, if you're leaving Windows for linux you have (in keeping with the seeming tradition) to go into a WINDOWS bbs and say "So long suckers! I'm through with Windows, Linux is better and you all can't convince me to keep using M$ stuff...but please beg me to"...see if it was the other way around, you'd post here...but since you're leaving windows, you have to post there...

Have fun MasterC...on this, what's the word? Vacation?
Hmmmm I'll have to look it up on google and see what the hell that is

Wow! I want to join in too.

Our band has a gig in Raleigh, NC this weekend for the
The Olde World Music Series: A Celtic Celebration, so I am leaving Linux Questions and going down to visit (and party with) some old friends I haven't seen in a few years the night before.

I hope I am fit to play the pipes Saturday......

I will miss the internet, though as they aren't on-line, so don't look for me from Fri till Mon.

I've had some good micro brew from NC, i think it was
a nut brown ale with a lion on the label, but i can't
remember for sure. Do your bagpipes have a
six-pack holder?

Isn't that standard for every set of bagpipes to have a six pack holder?

It wouldn't do any good to have a holder on it. It takes both hands and arms and one leg to play the uilleann pipes and I never could drink beer with my left foot.
