override admin password raid system win7

I have a problem. My uncle gave us a computer, but the problem is that he didn't give me an admin password and now I can't reset the computer to factory settings. I want to override the admin password, and get into the system without deleting anything. Safemode is blocked.

It's a Dell computer with Windows 7 installed with admin privileges. Permissions were set. There's many files I'm trying to delete so I can use it.

This comp has raid on it, and all the settings and hardware weren't deleted or uninstalled and some stuff needs admin privileges to uninstall or remove/delete.

Thanks.

The very obvious question is, "Why can't you call your uncle and ask for the password??"

The LQ Rules are pretty clear about hacking/cracking and asking about how to get around passwords or security. Not saying this is the case....but we don't (and CAN'T) know for sure you got this from your uncle, can we?

I'm sorry but you shouldn't ask how to circumvent access restrictions: that is a violation of the LQ Rules. And you should indeed, as suggested, contact the person that gave you the machine. If that doesn't work feel free to buy any commercially licensed OS download install Linux and install that cleanly.
