out of curiosity

I wanted to send the ls output to a file and I did the next:

ls > -l

I wanted to type L but instead I typed -l
Now I have a file called -l filled with the ls output , and I don't know how to open it using the command line, cause if I try:
emacs -l
pico -l
vi -l
more -l
they say there's no use for -l flag.
The question is:
How can you open or delete a file called -l using command line?

Try putting quotes around it to open it and or delete it.
