Not Linux related...

Ok ok! I know this isn't Linux related. But it is game related. So, I don't know where else to post this. :PSorry!

Anyhow, for some reason Win2k has broken IPX network protocall, so I can't play some good ol' games like Hexen, Heretic, Diablo 1, etc... Is there a fix to this?

Go to control panel>Networks (or something similar) You will get a list of protocols like TCP/IP. If you see IPX, remove it and add it again, that may fix it. If there is no IPX, then just add it.

I dont belive you had the nerve to ask a windoze question in a linux forum I hope some moderator kicks your a*s

I hope a moderator doesn't kick my a*s!

Anyhow, I tried all the things you guys mentioned. Thanks anyhow. Moderators CAN remove this post if they want to, because I am a little ashamed at asking this question here. What was I thinking? Why would linux users know such things about Micro$haft coughware?

Anyhow, thanks.
