i think that you are in the wrong forum

Why did you get a spider chip if you don't know what it does?

makes your xbox look like a computer over a network
Why did you download gftp if you don't know what it does?
gftp is a ftp utility. Allows you to transfer file with the ftp protocol.
more importantly: What does this have to do with linux?

if you are running linux. What distro? What hardware...

just google spider chip to find out more what it does and how to use it.

Hey asswipe tamoneya,
Why belittle someone requesting help and advice. Who cares about the specifics of this forum?
So much for kindness and compassion.
Oh and by the way, nice grammar. If you want to insult someone start with yourself.
Crawl back under the mouse-pad you grew under.
Adieu

I don't see anything wrong with his post, but I do, see a lot with yours.

First: this _is_ the wrong forum. This forum is for Linux Games only. His questions has the least to do with games or even Linux for that matter.

Second: completenewb has double posted the same thread, which is against the rules. Here is his original thread:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=281412

it has even been answered and I've recommended a great forum with great tutorials that has even a FAQ called "FAQ to completely newbie to everything". Clearly. he did not read it. There's a huge difference between being a newbie or wanting somebody to do everything for you...

And about yours "Who cares about the specifics of this forum?", the different subjects should be kept on the correct forums. It not only makes it less messy, but makes easier for the members to find answers to their questions. Nobody has the _right_ to be in here... this is a privilege...

Third: "Oh and by the way, nice grammar. If you want to insult someone start with yourself.
Crawl back under the mouse-pad you grew under." Correcting grammar in a public forum... now who is the newbie who never used a forum before?. Either tamoneya first language is or not English, you should respect it. If his first language is not English, then you should applaud him, because he is doing a great job.

And I'm reporting this thread as well...

Regards!

About 100,000 members care. This is LinuxQuestions.org - not XboxHacks.org, ParticlePhysicsFanClub.org or ComparativeBehaviouralPsychology.org. Specifically, this particular forum is for asking questions about Using and Installing Linux software, and we even have a sub-forum for Gaming on Linux. We do have a General forum for Off Topic posts. No gurantees about what kind of reception an X-Box question will recieve.

So much for kindness and compassion, indeed.

Please have a look at the rules and decide if you want to participate here. If you want to insult someone - go troll /.
