My PC becoming a real sore in the butt

Well, what can I say. It's true. Not because of bad hardware or buggy software, but because of the fact that I actually own a pc. I can't get my hand's of the damn thing. I'm telling you, pc's can be addictive. This can be a bad thing, especially when you have exam's coming up!
Are any of you guy's experiencing similar "problems". How are you dealing with it? I know it's not the pc, it's me. But that can I do?
Is there any software that only lets me at the pc some amount of time and then crashes my machine (just kidding )

lol, I am "addicted" also, the only way round it is will power, you have to be able to go without the PC for a particular time and then just tell yourself you'll have time on it later.

I usually when exams are coming up, take my hard disk out and lock it somewhere and I know I cant use it until I have done x amount of revision, this works well for me

Are you kidding! I would have never become and LQ addict > 3 years ago. I thought these boxes were wastes of time. Now I cannot live without it, and when I am not near it, I think about what it's doing. Oh man, I am SO SO addicted, the only good thing is I don't have exams. The bad part is, I deal with medicine all day and cannot afford to make mistakes, people can die. So I try to make sure I get at least 6 hours of sleep, although sometimes that doesn't happen, but then at work I just kinda "chill" and not do too much direct solo work.

It's crack in binary!

Cool
