Max amount of disks for raid 0?

Is their a max? Just wondering, I thought it was as much as the board could support, but then I've heard it's a max of 4. Anyone here anything on this?

The maximum for hardware RAID is the number of drives supported by that board. There is no practical limit for software RAID - the limitation will come from bus bandwidth.

It isn't a technical limitation but 2. Don't ever use more for raid0 unless you hate your data.

I think it is because you will have more of a chance of drive failing making it unusable, right?
