Looking for Educators

Hey I'm looking of educators to participate in a site I recently launched. Know anyone who might be interested send them my way. The site targets K-12 educators interested in open source.

grades kinder (the one before grade 1)
till grade 12 (the last year)

looks pretty cool. one thing though (I'm not an educator, I'm a programer)
try coding it so it fits on more people's screens than yours. I have a 17 inch screen, and it was still too big to fit completely. As the audience you are seeking are educators who want to go the cheap option, do you think they will have 19inch + monitors like your's? nope. They'll go for the cheap 15inchers.

as a programmer: your meta tags show that you got bored.... you have teachers twice. try adding teacher's. and Teachers. etc..

other wise: pretty good. will recomend to my computer teacher/friend.
Oh... and If it's education, how about a mac (apple) distro?

PS no seriously, I like it. just fix it a little.

The outer table is 100% so it should show on all monitors at 100%. I've tested in IE and Mozilla with a 15 in monitor and have a complete view. Our 17 in. at school with IE also show a complete view as well. What browser are you using? And thanks for the tip I'll need to try other monitors to see if there are differences.

Thanks for the meta tag slip. I'm sure it was late. MAC sure! I can also cover open source for this platform as well.

The site looks okay on my screen with Firebird 0.7, but there was a width problem upon reloading. Might help to validate your code just to be safe, though. A design based more on web standards might not be a bad idea either. Table-based formatting can be quite troublesome.

Looks to be the start of a good resource, though! Maybe there should be something on the front page by way of introducing the open source concept to educators who may not be familiar with it. I think it's a great idea, though, and have been sending info like this along to my dad, who's a public high school teacher. Also, if you haven't already looked into it, the Linux Terminal Server Project (whose site really has a problem with HTML) is a great concept for bringing good computer technology to underfunded schools.

Yea I notice the width issure on reload in Firebird. The design is a modified template. I'm using myphpnuke cms to run the site. I image the code isn't perfect. Anyway thanks for the input it's very useful.

Thumbs up

Participate, educate, and give them some information on open source.
