login script
Hi,
can anyone tell me what i need to put into a bat file for when users login to my PDC, i use samba as the PDC and would like a share to be automatically mounted in windows my computer as a network drive.
the folder I would like mounted would be /PDC/my share

Look into the help for the 'net' command under windows.

With NetWare I'm doing this in my login script to map a drive to my linux box:
@net use V: \\192.168.0.32\STORAGE

im using net use x: \\myserver\file server
but it dont work. the folder file server is in the root directory, am i doing something wrong here?
i can see the client pc execute the script on login so its in the right place, it just dont map the drive to my computer

If it's really called file server, you'll need to put quotes around the argument, as in "\\myserver\file server" (WITH the quotes)
