The latest casualty seems to be Bodhi: Jeff can no longer manage the work involved. DistroWatch have promptly labeled it "discontinued", but the release candidate for the latest version is still on SourceForge, so it only needs some intrepid volunteer to take over.
That aside, when I first started messing with Linux a few years ago, Mepis was one of only a few distros that would run readily on the old computer I was experimenting on.
GEOS was a nice looking distro. Not linux but I still miss BeOS. It may live on in WebOS or Haiku-OS.
Yeah, I liked BeOS. Haiku-OS had looked promising, but at the snails pace it's moving (almost 2 YEARS now since they've had a release, and it was still an alpha), it'll never get to a usable OS. However I thought WebOS used a linux kernel?

Well, I'm glad to say that the panic's over in this case: Bodhi is active again!
