As far fetched as it may sound, the US does play soccer. This fact was discovered after our very own Dubya happened to stumble across some tiny news article in some newspaper describing the US' entry into the quarter finals.

The US team then received publicity when they got called to the White house. Apparently bush wanted to know why the sport was called "soccer" and why it sounded rather derogatory.

Poor guy, that's like giving you your first drink. Now you are addicted, you will be and LQ addict in no time. I don't think I would refer to him as my friend anymore.
