import users from Windows LDAP server to Windows 2003 server

Hi,
i have a Windows 2000 LDAP server/domain controller in the network. A new Windows 2003 server has been set up and i would like to import users from the LDAP db to the new server. The new server has successfully been added to the domain and the domain Administrator account works, but the rest of the user accounts are invalid. What do i have to do? Do i have to do some configuration on the new Windows 2003 oron the Windows 2000 domain controller? I am sure there are resources on this, but my queries on Google weren't successful...

All the users had been imported successfully, but i was trying to use the remove desktop connection. I added them in the users, who can access remotely and the problem was fixed
