Has anyone tried Cyberdefender?

I am thinking about downloading the free scanner from their website and was curious if anyone else had tried it. I read that they have 24/7 technical support which would be VERY useful to me (I am a bit computer illiterate). Any feedback is appreciated.

I found one warning about cyberdefender.
(Finnish forum posting from year 2007)

It installs alot of browser addons (active-x)and disabled virus scanners.
Who knows what it does, I wouldnt use it.(They use also spam to advertise that product.)
