Exercising + Computing

What are the best solutions people have found for exercise and computing at the same time? I don't exercise as much as I should, and part of it is because I find it incredibly boring. Beyond that, I spend a significant amount of time programming. I'm looking for actual aerobic exercise, not bouncing around on one of those fitness balls.

On a related note, can anyone reccommend good, quiet ellipticals or treadmills or similar machines. The ones I've tried seem really loud (the treadmills because of the motor, the ellipticals because of squeaking of the parts).

Move to Colorado, get a bicycle, and commute to work on it. Great exercise, great savings, great scenery, no boredom. And seldom a weather problem.

Live in a capital, don't own a car, do all ways by feet or by bike.

Fits in perfectly with every day tasks, incredible CO2-efficient, saves a lot of money, scales really good depending on your mood and time and does not need ANY special equipment if you choose "by feet".

And you actually see something of your city.

I'm a trucker so do a lot of driving when on the road. When I am home from the road I use a recumbent bicycle for my means of transportation. Great exercise.

I'm aware of walking. No, really, I am. But I'd like to make use of the time I am otherwise being sedentary. (and commuting by foot isn't practical for me)

This is in the realm of what I am looking at, but that company seems to be gone, and I'm not sure how well it works.

Place your monitor at the other end of the room so you get to jog the place up and down each time you want to check what it is that you typed in.
