There are by now tens of thousands of known "variants" of this extremely-common family of "viruses." And, new "variants" emerge constantly.

There is absolutely nothing "new" about any of this. This is why you can "catch a cold" many times in a season. Corona and Rhino viruses have been mutating since human time began. Usually, they give you: "The Common Cold."

"Potions." Interesting choice of words.

And you know this because... Fauci told you so? Or, because you can read his mind? Or, please tell us, how exactly do you know what's in Fauci's head, and what "his only goal" is??

I don't want to separate the populace into pro- and anti-vaxxers - reality is much more complex and we should generally stop doing this division thing because, you know, it's so devisive.

But it's discussions like these that help me to identify the idiots that will believe anything they read/hear/see only because it strengthens their POV, and continue to stubbornly stick to that even after being told to take a deeper look, or at the very least share their sources.

No, I'm 1.84Metres (about 6') which is a little large for a leprechaun, and not half good-humoured enough. I can't do magic either :(. Many nationalities invented creatures specifically for kid's bed time stories. Gnomes, goblins, elves … etc. Leprechauns was ours.

@boughtonp: I think most of us fall into the trap of wanting to be understood. So we use the name others (e.g. Hazel) are using. The less contagious variants are not variants of concern, and those variants that sank without trace are more suited to a biology forum if you wanted to discuss those.

People in Finland tell children bedtime stories of bęte noire and how you should never speak to him for fear of what he might say...

I'm on par with the boogieman.

You can tell what Fauci's all about in the usual way: by closely watching what he does. He is personally a beneficiary of massive sales of these potions, made possible only by an "emergency use authorization" due to an emergency that he declared, and also by the assertion that "no other effective treatment exists," hence his squashing of HCQ, Ivermectin, and any and all discussions of the same. You don't do any of these things if you are genuinely concerned with what is best for public health – you do them to make money, which he certainly has. Bill Gates did, too.

His potions never made it to human trials because they killed laboratory animals in large numbers, often in very gruesome ways due to autoimmune reactions. (Things like this: "the animal's skin dissolved.")

So, how do you turn that into pure gold? You force them directly on humans, saying that they are "vaccines" that have been shown to be "safe and effective," then you cover up all stories of what the consequences actually are. Fortunately, there are uncensored web sites where people are posting those stories and self-made videos describing the horrific things that they experienced when their bodies were made to turn upon themselves.

Again with the "potions" crap? Potions are drinks - you know, things that go through the mouth and down the throat.

I'm not aware of any of the items in this list being delivered in that fashion?

There's no doubt a whole bunch of people with sore arms who would have loved to drink a potion instead.

The word "drug" is an appropriate term for someone who disputes whether they are actually vaccines; it does not define the manner in which the substance is administered, (nor make any statement about whether it is beneficial or otherwise).

In the past anti-biotics were considered to save us. Doctors prescribed in absurd amounts. But in time things changed to opposite - and reluctance in anti-biotic prescriptions. We will see how in future vaccines will be treated. In general.

michaelk 07-02-2021 10:33 AM

Since you persist with your nonsense...

Unfortunately, many have been brainwashed by social media and right wing "news".
Now days anyone can upload an "uncensored" video. Anything can be taken out of "context" so without verification they are not a reliable source.

I have no idea where you find your information nor how you actually fact checked them but Dr Fauci has no direct personal investments with Moderna. I do think the NIH helped with the technology but I would not classify the COVID19 vaccines as Dr Fauci's.

There were several global studies with HCQ and the overall consensus was that it really did not work and the possible serious side affects did not warrant its use. It was not just the NIH nor the CDC that made that decision.

mNRA research has been ongoing for years but the US government providing money helped to rapidly speed up testing and clinical trials.

Antibiotics do save lives — what's dangerous is the widespread indiscriminate use of them. As for vaccination, that's been around for 500 years and it eliminated smallpox. There are certain people here in the business of spreading FUD, generally from the sort of places where such stuff is endemic — is it something in the water, or just poor education?

igadoter 07-02-2021 11:43 AM

Exactly. That's the point. How far we can go with vaccines? Essentially this is what tells us story about antibiotics. There are no miracle medicine. And scientists should be the very first persons knowing that. Yet instead we here only flow of never ending promises. How we can even relay on totally irresponsible people? From one hand they are provided us with vaccines. From other hand however they engineered coronviruses. For what purpose? Even USA government prohibited such kind of research. They are not saviors. Let say they try to clean up mess they created. Probably for reason to continue this senseless research. Anyone heard Wuhan lab was closed? I am not telling covid really comes from Wuhan. But it may happen. Leak from Wuhan may happen. Not today perhaps in future. But instead we see these bio-tech labs like heroes saving the world. With money they now get - and almost unlimited government support - they can push some really crazy projects. They just heroes. You will sooner or later it will be mRNA is good for everything. Miracle cure.

colorpurple21859 07-02-2021 11:43 AM

Reason’s I don’t want to get vaccinated:
I had covid, I’m good
It makes me sick
Don’t want to be tracked by the secretly inserted tracking device
Magnets will stick to my arm
Cell phone will stick to my arm
It changes my DNA
I will glow in the dark

sundialsvcs 07-02-2021 01:05 PM

HCQ has been safely prescribed for more than sixty years, e.g. as a treatment for Lupus. Its actual function in this case, however, is simply to act as a so-called ionophore, helping the actual active ingredient, Zinc, to get to where it needs to go. Zinc interferes with the well-understood biochemical process that such viruses use to reproduce themselves, and it is part of your body's natural defenses. So, if you sucked on Zinc lozenges when you had a cold and noticed that you felt better faster, you weren't dreaming. ("The Common Cold" is also the product of a Corona or Rhino virus.)

mRNA therapies remain experimental and they continue to be plagued with "unintended consequences." These injections cause your body to synthesize a toxin ... then, when the immune response kicks in, every cell that produced it is destroyed. The problem becomes that these cells can be anywhere in your body. It provokes an autoimmune reaction in which the body turns on itself, and it's impossible to predict which cells those might be. In some cases, people died because every platelet in their bloodstream disappeared. Or they died because all-of-the-sudden their liver was no longer functioning at all – presumably it had been destroyed.

The development of new treatments is supposed to be fraught with "extreme caution." An "emergency" is supposed to be exactly that, and "emergency use authorization" is supposed to be a last-ditch move. All of these practices have been thrown completely to the four winds in the name of one thing: greed.

People who believed that they were receiving a "safe and effective" vaccine discovered that they were actually part of a gigantic, uncontrolled, human trial. They're also now discovering that the potions don't work. If you take a treatment that's supposed to confer immunity and you subsequently get the disease, "it didn't work."

This isn't science. This isn't medicine. This is a crime.

enorbet 07-02-2021 02:45 PM

Well if mRNA was a trial (for which I don't see any evidence that it was) I'd have to conclude that trial is a resounding success story. Globally, nations with high percentage vaccinated show vastly reduced numbers of both deaths and new cases while the opposite is also true - those with low rollout or lesser quality vaccines show vastly less reductions. These are not small impacts. In the US we peaked last November around 250,000 new cases per day. In June we were at less than 2,000. By contrast India's numbers were still climbing until in late May India began to receive aid in the form of millions of doses of donated vaccines. The parallels closely follow what happened with Polio. For the majority of people, Vaccine's work.
