I think this is the worst operating system I've ever used. It took me three tries to get to this website because my Mozilla kept crashing. I can't view my bank info online because my brower isn't up to date, but I can't get the new Netscape browser to work (In what directory is the stupid file anyway?) God forbid I should try to download Real Player . . . It just goes to show you that you get what you pay for.
Why did you pay for Redhat 7.1 which is outdated by almost 2 years? I don't even think most sites even offer to download it anymore. 7.1 had its problems though, broken packages, etc. 7.3 was more stable along with the later versions of course with updated browsers that are more compliant with todays web pages out on the web.
Because I read a review about it about eight months ago and decided it was enough for me, so I bought it then. Why would anyone market something this crappy? Especially in the U.S. I thought we produced better-quality things than this.

If your here to argue, maybe I should move this to our General forum. But if you want help, ask your questions please if their technical. If you paid for 7.1 8 months ago, you should have recieved support then or asked for your money back, etc.
Most likely though an upgrade to stable packages will do you good..
Andrea40: Just curious. If you wanted to try Linux cheap 8 months ago, why not a free or almost free (like from a book with CDs)? Red Hat older then 9 can't be too expensive, even 8 months ago. If I missed something...
